How Does the Process Work?
This precast construction method uses a series of prefabricated concrete modules for the structure of the building.
Manufacturing: Modules are fabricated at Fibrebond’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Site Work: The general contractor completes foundations, underground utilities and other site work concurrent with module manufacturing.
Module Delivery: Concrete modules are set in place using a crane, which typically takes three to five days.
Construction Completion: The general contractor oversees the completion of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other trades.
What is the Design and Bid Process?
Fibrebond concrete modules are used in place of conventional building materials. Project dimensions, floor plans and exteriors are unique for each project. Architects design using Fibrebond’s standard construction details without compromising flexibility.
General contractors combine Fibrebond’s module pricing with site subcontractor bids to submit turnkey bids to school districts. Fibrebond supports general contractors by providing close coordination with all site subcontractors.
