Fibrebond Sponsors Webster Parish School Board’s Back-to-School Bash

MINDEN, La. – Fibrebond Corporation sponsored and donated school supplies to the Webster Parish School Board’s 4th Annual Back-to-School Bash on Aug.6. Throughout the month of July, Fibrebond and other local organizations collected school supplies to contribute to the cause.

West Brook High School Addition Earns Honorable Mention in 2012 PCI Design Awards

MINDEN, La. – A 16,434 square foot addition to West Brook High School in Beaumont, TX, has been selected as an honorable mention in the Best Schools category in the 2012 PCI Design Awards Program by a panel of jurors.

Those credited for the award include James Harrison and Gary Hale, of Harrison Kornberg Architects; Frank Raley, of Raley & Associates; Dr. Carrol Thomas, of Beaumont Independent School District; and Fibrebond Corporation. 

Fibrebond Names Bo Hanley as Director of Field Services and Quality

Fibrebond welcomes Bo Hanley as the Director of Field Services and Quality. Hanley joined Fibrebond in March 1993 and most recently served as the Director of Quality Assurance. In his new role, he will continue to manage quality operations for Fibrebond and oversee the Field Services department.

Fibrebond Erects 22 Modules for Webster Parish School

MINDEN, La. – Fibrebond Corporation, a Webster Parish-based construction and manufacturing company, erected a 22 module classroom addition on Aug. 3-5 at J.A. Phillips Middle School in Minden. The 5,804sf addition, constructed using precast concrete modules, includes 4 classrooms, 2 restrooms, 2 teacher work rooms and 2 faculty restrooms. The project was approved by the Webster Parish School Board on May 16, and the district opted to use Fibrebond's construction method because it was cost effective and allowed for the project to be completed in a timely manner.

Fibrebond Offloads 27 Modules for Nye County

PAHRUMP, Nev. – Fibrebond recently offloaded 27 precast concrete twin cell modules for Nye County Jail in Pahrump, Nevada. Fibrebond's modules were utilized to make up the housing portion of the 5,267 square foot correctional facility.

Fibrebond Donates More Than $5,000 to American Cancer Society

MINDEN, La. – Fibrebond Corporation presented the American Cancer Society with a donation of $5,056.34 on May 10th at the company's headquarters in Minden, La. The money was raised in support of the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life event in Webster Parish. Twelve employees teamed to raise $2,528.17, which Fibrebond agreed to match.
