MINDEN, La. – John Clancy Elementary School for the Arts in Kenner, La., has been selected as an honorable mention in the Best Schools category in the 2010 PCI Design Awards Program.

Deputies and guards in Lonoke County hope to put the days of jailbreaks and overcrowding behind them.  In six months, the county expects to open the doors to a new jail, which will nearly double the occupancy and provide better security.
